A school in Hayes is looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team from September or sooner. The role will continue until the end of the academic year in 2027. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a structured and supportive school environment.
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will provide targeted 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils regulate their emotions, engage positively with learning, and develop essential social skills.
The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will be able to implement behaviour strategies and create a calm, consistent classroom atmosphere. Experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour in a school or similar setting would be highly beneficial.
