We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Highly Specialist CAMHS NDT-ADHD Practitioner Prescribing qualifications and considerable Neurodevelopmental CAMHS experience, to come and work in the socially and ethnically diverse borough of Tower Hamlets.

The service includes professionals from various disciplines including psychiatry, nursing, social workers, psychology, occupational therapy, psychotherapy and family therapy, who come together to provide high quality holistic care for young people and their families.

This is a community-based post, across the Neurodevelopmental Team and the ADHD pathway within Tower Hamlets CAMHS. The post holder will directly contribute to the positive working environment within the service. The post holder will require a high degree of professional autonomy and self-management, and will be required to account for their professional practice through appraisal and audit.

Within the Neurodevelopmental Team, the post holder will provide evidence based episodes of care, assessments and treatment to young people with moderate to severe Learning Disability. The post holder will bring clinical knowledge and skills to this team. NDT provide a broad range of evidence-based interventions including an established group programme, Positive Behaviour Support, ASC assessment clinic, consultation to CAMHS colleagues and schools, and direct work with children and their families, which the post holder will contribute towards. The post holder will join committed and enthusiastic colleagues.

Within the ADHD pathway, the post holder will contribute to the assessment and treatment of young people and families in this pathway, as well as leading on service development/quality improvement projects in the service. The post holder provide assessments and evidence based interventions for children and young people with suspected neurodevelopmental disorders.

The role will also provide a non-medical prescribing service within CAMHS principally to children and young people with sleep difficulties and ADHD and their families.
