Join Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and play an important role in supporting the safe, efficient delivery of Homecare Medicines to patients across our hospitals

As a Pharmacy Assistant in the Homecare team, you will help ensure that medicine requests, orders and financial processes run smoothly, contributing to a service that enables patients to receive vital treatments at home.

Working within a friendly and collaborative pharmacy environment, you will use our homecare IT system to create requests, reconcile orders and support the accurate processing of invoices and documentation.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and committed to excellent patient care.

You’ll work closely with technicians, pharmacists, homecare companies and the finance team, developing strong working relationships and building confidence in handling queries, resolving issues and maintaining accurate records.

  • Process homecare requests against valid prescriptions.
  • Reconcile and receive orders from homecare suppliers.
  • Invoice match on our pharmacy IT system, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, homecare companies and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
