Key Responsibilities Deliver routine, urgent, and on the day GP consultationsface to face, telephone, and digital Manage acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing and follow-up Participate in duty- on-call GP cover, including management of same day demand and clinical triage (mandatory where specified) Review and act on clinical correspondence, pathology results, and clinical tasks Maintain accurate clinical records and coding to support quality and QOF outcomes Quality, Governance & Teamworking Contribute to QOF achievement, clinical audit, and quality improvement activity Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, offering advice and support to colleagues Participate in practice meetings, training, and learning events Comply with all practice policies, NHS guidance, and governance requirements Professional Requirements Full GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Performers List Engagement in appraisal, revalidation, and continuing professional development (CPD) Commitment to professional standards, patient safety, and confidentiality Overall Purpose The Salaried GP role balances clinical excellence, teamwork, and sustainability, supporting the delivery of highquality care while promoting a positive working environment and continuity for patients.
