What skills and experience we're looking for
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and secure high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Brockley site
- Ensure effective safeguarding systems and a safe learning environment
- Lead and develop staff performance, culture, and professional standards
- Oversee behaviour, inclusion, and wellbeing across the site
- Manage delegated resources effectively to deliver best value and outcomes
- Contribute to whole-school development across all Drumbeat sites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant leadership experience
- Significant experience of leadership within a SEND or specialist setting
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver sustained improvement
- Strong understanding of SEND, safeguarding, and inclusive practice
- Experience of managing staff, finances, and school operations at a senior level
- Ability to make sound decisions and manage complex situations effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships
