SUMMARY

A brand‑new SEN school based in West Drayton is seeking SEN Teachers to join them on a permanent, full‑time basis. This is a term‑time role with the option of an ASAP start for the right applicant.

THE SCHOOL

This new specialist provision supports primary and secondary pupils aged 5-16 with a diagnosis of Autism. Led by an innovative and visionary Headteacher, the school is at an exciting journey of expanding their Secondary . As a growing independent specialist school, they have ambitious plans to expand into a multi‑site provision serving over 100 pupils in the near future.

WHAT THE HEADTEACHER IS LOOKING FOR

They are seeking committed, creative and reflective SEN practitioners to join their founding team. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the culture, curriculum and learning environment of a school that puts pupils first.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond classroom teaching - to influence whole‑school development, work in a close‑knit team, and grow professionally as the school expands.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE - WHO CAN APPLY?

The school welcomes applications from a range of qualified teachers with SEN experience, including

  • QTS (preferred)
  • ECTs with SEN experience
  • QTLS‑qualified teachers
  • Post‑16 SEN teachers looking to transition into primary specialist settings

To be considered, you will also need

  • Experience teaching or supporting children with Autism, ideally in a specialist setting
  • Familiarity with the EQUALS curriculum (highly desirable)
  • Experience with non‑linear assessment frameworks such as SCERTS or Routes for Learning (advantageous)
  • A deep passion for supporting neurodivergent learners and delivering person‑centred, inclusive education
