The Opportunity
Long Term Futures are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Head of Economics Teacher to join a supportive all-girls secondary school in the Wandsworth area from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach economics and business across KS4 and KS5, helping students develop a strong understanding of enterprise, finance, and real-world business concepts within a well-structured and ambitious multi-cultural school.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS4 & KS5
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
* Assess, track, and monitor student progress effectively
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Support students in developing analytical and commercial awareness
* Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
* Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject
* Experience teaching Business Studies in a UK secondary school
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and high teaching standards
