About this role
Independently manage a varied paediatric caseload including children with developmental delay, neurological needs, and complex presentations. Carry out comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans using evidence-based practice. Provide intervention across multiple community settings. Work in close partnership with families and carers, offering advice, education, and support to promote ongoing management. Collaborate effectively within amultidisciplinary team (MDT)including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, paediatricians, and education partners. Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement projects as directed by senior staff. Support the training and supervision of physiotherapy students and Band 5 colleagues. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with HCPC, CSP, and Trust governance standards.
Key skills required
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues. Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a busy community service. Flexibility to work across a range of clinical settings.
