The Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable General Builder to join our growing team, working across void properties and occupied homes.

You will carry out a wide range of repair and refurbishment works, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and ready for occupation.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general building works in void and tenanted properties

Complete multi-trade tasks such as

Basic carpentry

Patch plastering

Minor plumbing repairs

Tiling and making good

Painting and decorating

Prepare void properties to a lettable standard or above

Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs

Ensure all works meet quality and safety standards

Maintain clean and safe working environments

Liaise professionally with tenants, clients, and management

Complete basic reports, including before and after photos of works

Work efficiently to meet deadlines and KPIs

Requirements

Proven experience as a General Builder or Multi-Trader

Strong all-round knowledge of property repairs and maintenance

Experience working in social housing or voids (preferred)

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Full UK driving licence

Must provide the majority of your own tools
