Job Role
This role will take ownership of space planning across our diverse estate, ensuring optimal utilisation and supporting the Trust’s strategic objectives. You will lead the development and delivery of space and change policies, manage space planning consultants, and implement CAFM-based systems that support data-driven decision-making across our property portfolio.
Our Teams
Working closely with the Property Team and local stakeholders the postholder will assist in matters of space utilisation and Building asset management to maintain an up to date knowledge of current industry trends and developments in order to contribute to strategic decision making.
This role sits within the Estates and Facilities under Group Support Services
The Space Planning Lead is responsible for the operational delivery of space planning and utilisation management across the Trust’s estate. The role will combine technical expertise in CAD, Revit, and CAFM systems with knowledge of healthcare planning guidance (HBNs/HTMs) to provide accurate, compliant, and efficient space solutions.
The postholder will be the Trust’s operational lead for maintaining accurate space data, enabling effective planning, restacking, and relocation projects, and supporting the development of the Trust’s Digital Twin capability.
