About the Role

We are working with a Further Education College in South London who are seeking a skilled Plumbing Lecturer. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and training to learners across a variety of programmes, supporting them in developing the knowledge and practical skills required for careers in the plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical plumbing lessons across Level 1-3 Programmes
• Plan, prepare, and deliver teaching in line with curriculum and awarding body standards
• Assess learner work and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• Relevant industry experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to engage and inspire learners in an FE setting
• Commitment to safeguarding and student success

Desirable

• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Assessing qualification
• Previous experience teaching in Further Education
