Academic Mentor

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a proactive, organised and approachable Academic Mentor to support pupils’ learning, deliver targeted interventions and promote high levels of engagement and achievement across the school.

Our ideal candidate

• Has experience supporting pupils through academic intervention and mentoring
• Has strong organisational and time management skills
• Communicates effectively and builds positive relationships
• Is confident using IT to track progress and maintain records
• Understands safeguarding and supporting pupils with additional needs
• Motivates pupils and promotes high expectations
• Is proactive, flexible and works well within a team
• Supports the Catholic ethos and values of the school
