About this role
As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will providehigh quality, patient focused, clinical pharmacy services which consistently meet the needs of all service users. You willbe responsible forworking across all aspects of the core pharmacyservices which may include provision ofmedicines management, adviceand evidence-based practice to inpatients and outpatients, patientservices, riskmanagementand clinical governance. You will be involved inthe continuousservice and professional development,auditand monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs). As a Senior Specialist pharmacist, you willbe responsible forproviding clinical pharmacy services to highlyspecialisedor complex areas of medicine, including liver, transplant, critical care, oncology, cardiac and gastro wards. You will also be a key stakeholder forrelevantQuality Improvement Project(s) (QIPs)andwill be integral in providing training, education and mentorship topharmacists and technical staff.
