  • To contribute alongside the consultant body to an excellent standard of care covering the full range of specialist diagnosis, treatment and management of patients requiring anaesthetic services.
  • To contribute to safety and quality initiatives and improvement projects being undertaken in the trust.
  • To supervise and support resident doctors, clinical fellows and specialty doctors.
  • To undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of patients and the administration of the department.
  • To contribute and support departmental meetings.
  • To fully comply with requirements for annual appraisal and job planning and maintain an up -to-date mandatory training record.
