About this role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate registered nurse/AHP to join our team as a Macmillan Information and Support Manager at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. This is a part-time position (3 days per week – Wed, Thurs, Fri), offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.

As the Macmillan Information and Support Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality, accessible information and emotional support services for patients, families, and carers. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that individuals receive the guidance, resources, and reassurance they need throughout their cancer journey

  • Manage and develop the Macmillan Information and Support Service at St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
  • Provide expert, evidence-based information and emotional support to patients, carers, and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of support services.
  • Lead on service development, evaluation, and reporting to meet patient needs and organisational goals.
  • Supervise and support staff and volunteers working within the service.

Act as a key liaison with Macmillan Cancer Support and other partner organisations
