This Nursery Room Leader position offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development while leading by example to inspire and guide fellow team members.

The Role

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will

Provide engaging and age-appropriate activities and learning experiences

Support children’s emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development

Lead and motivate staff within the room to maintain high standards of care and education

Ensure children’s learning journeys and records are accurately maintained

Promote a positive and inclusive environment for children, families, and colleagues

Support safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing practices at all times

Ensure compliance with EYFS and regulatory requirements

Requirements

To be considered for this Nursery Room Leader job in Chelmsford, you will need

Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)

Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

Good knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted expectations

Excellent communication skills and fluent English
