About this role
As a senior nurse in this specialist role, you will need to demonstrate that you are enthusiastic and highly motivated, with evidence of excellent communication and leadership skills. You will be well organised and able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be computer literate. Using these skills you will work closely with the paediatric matron, the Lead CNS, the clinical leads for paediatric oncology, haematology, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that our children and their families receive the highest possible standards of integrated care within an ever changing and challenging environment. This role will be varied and will require that you have significant experience in paediatric haematology/oncology as well as the necessary people skills to support the paediatric haematology/oncology patients going through complex treatment.
