About this role
Provide all necessary support to the overall leadership, direction and management of nursing staff the Emergency Department and Same Day Emergency Care Unit.

Function as the senior professional lead within the department.
Ensure compliance with policies, clinical & professional standards.
Promote patient safety and lead on risk.
Governance lead for the department.
Support with patient flow through the Department.
Budget management.
On occasions deputise in the absence of the Deputy Director of Nursing.
