Site Manager – Heat Pump Installation Project (Live Hospital Environment)
Keystone Labour Solutions are one of the UKs leading labour providers to the construction and engineering sectors.
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee an upcoming mechanical installation project within a live hospital environment in London.
The project is due to commence in July and is expected to run for approximately six months. The works involve the installation of a heat pump system, requiring strong coordination skills, a proactive approach to health & safety, and experience working within sensitive, operational healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all on-site activities throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure works are carried out in compliance with health & safety regulations and hospital protocols
Oversee subcontractors and direct labour on site
Maintain programme and ensure project milestones are achieved
Liaise with the client, consultants, and hospital representatives
Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
Ensure quality standards and documentation requirements are met
Manage logistics and minimise disruption within the live hospital environment
Report progress, issues, and risks to the project team
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager on M&E or HVAC projects
SMSTS certification
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work certification
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage programme, safety, and subcontractors effectively
Desirable
Previous NHS project experience
Mechanical or building services background / Experience with heat pumps
Temporary works or AP qualifications
