We are seeking a Senior Critical Engineering Manager to act as the Technical Lead across the 1CP site, taking full ownership of engineering and fabric operations within a highly complex, business-critical environment with significant client scrutiny.​

This is a senior leadership role with accountability for compliance, KPIs, commercial performance and the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects across M&E, Fabric and Projects.

Job Description

We are looking for a proven leader to manage a large, multi-disciplinary engineering operation for the London Campus as part of the ISS Facilities Management team, ensuring the delivery of a premier workplace environment.​

The role requires strong governance, visible leadership and excellent client relationship management, with Health & Safety, statutory compliance and the uptime of critical services as core priorities aligned to the ISS technical strategy and delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across the 1CP site, overseeing Engineering, Fabric and Projects delivery.

Lead and manage a team of 30+ engineers, including direct line management of 3-4 managers (BMS Lead, Fabric Lead and Technical Manager).

Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, HASAWA, ISS Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and engineering standards.

Own budget management and P&L responsibility, ensuring financial targets and commercial objectives are achieved.

Maintain the operational performance, reliability and uptime of critical plant and systems.

Oversee Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) delivery in line with schedules, SLAs and contract KPIs.

Manage and prioritise a high volume of live projects, ensuring coordinated delivery across engineering and fabric teams.

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, internal service lines and external suppliers.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Clear, strong leadership experience within comparable, complex and critical sites.

Demonstrable experience managing large engineering operations.

Proven P&L and budget management experience.

Very strong client relationship and stakeholder management capability.

Critical Engineering management experience.

Suitably qualified in an Electrical or Mechanical engineering discipline.

Full UK driving licence required for travel to client sites.
