Our client, a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Redbridge, East London, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. As a Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual potential. Working closely with class teachers and support staff, you will contribute to the delivery of engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support for pupils with special educational needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers to support the planning and delivery of inclusive learning activities
- Deliver one-to-one and small-group support to reinforce key learning objectives
- Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence within the classroom
- Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment
- Maintain accurate records to support the monitoring of student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and relevant professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience supporting students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs
- A flexible, proactive, and solution-focused approach
- Safeguarding training and a valid Enhanced DBS check
