Permanent KS1 Teacher Harrow

About this role

KS1 Teacher, Harrow | Permanent | September 2026 Start

Ready for a classroom that feels like the right fit, not just another job ad?

A welcoming primary school in Harrow is looking for a brilliant KS1 teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis. If you love those lightbulb moments in Year 1 or Year 2, and you're looking for a school where support actually means something, this could be the one.

From phonics breakthroughs to proudly wobbly handwriting, KS1 is where the magic starts. This school knows that, and they're looking for someone who brings energy, kindness, and a genuine love of helping children find their feet.

  • September 2026 start
  • Based in Harrow
  • Pay to scale (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
  • Suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs ready to start strong

What the school offers

  • Supportive SLT who are present, approachable, and actually listen
  • Friendly staff team, the sort that remembers how you take your tea
  • Well-resourced classrooms and shared planning across the key stage
  • A school community that values creativity, curiosity, and every child feeling seen

We're looking for someone who

  • Holds UK QTS
  • Has experience teaching in KS1, or is an ECT ready to begin their journey
  • Brings warmth, strong classroom presence, and a calm, positive approach
  • Loves creating engaging lessons that make little learners light up
