An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (Head RVN) to lead the nursing team within a well-established and modern small animal practice in Tottenham.

This is an ideal role for an experienced Senior Veterinary Nurse ready to step into leadership, or an existing Head Nurse looking for a fresh challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

As Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a central role in maintaining high clinical standards while leading and inspiring the nursing team.

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading, mentoring and developing the nursing team
  • Delivering nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
  • Supporting surgeries, consultations and inpatient care
  • Managing patient admissions, monitoring and discharges
  • Ensuring compliance with clinical and operational standards
  • Driving exceptional client service and patient care
  • Supporting training and professional development across the team

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will continue to utilise your clinical skills while helping shape the culture and performance of the practice.

Located in the vibrant West Green area of Tottenham, this busy and well-established clinic provides a varied first opinion caseload and a welcoming, collaborative atmosphere.

The practice is modern and fully equipped, allowing the team to deliver high-quality veterinary care in a supportive environment where every team member is valued.

About You

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Previous senior or leadership experience preferred
  • Confident across all aspects of clinical nursing
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Passionate about patient care and clinical excellence
  • Motivated to develop and inspire others
