Director of Meetings and Events Operations - Park Plaza Westminster Bridge
Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is a leading Meetings and Events Hotel (32 conference, event and meeting rooms, including the Westminster Ballroom for up to 1,400 delegates, theatre style) in the heart of Central London.
The role of the Director of Meetings & Events Operations is to lead the strategic and day-to-day delivery of a large scale, high volume Meetings & Events operation. Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the function, ensuring seamless execution across multiple concurrent events while driving exceptional guest experiences and strong commercial performance.
Leading large, multi-disciplinary teams, you will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, managing senior stakeholders, and ensuring the department consistently delivers against brand standards, financial targets and guest expectations.
Operational responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end Meetings & Events operation in a complex, high-volume environment
- Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent events, ensuring exceptional guest and client experiences
- Inspire, lead and develop large operational teams, creating a high-performing and inclusive culture
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers and partners
- Drive service excellence, ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards and guest satisfaction
- Own and manage budgets, forecasts and cost controls, delivering strong commercial performance
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency and optimise operations
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations and governance requirements

Education,
Experience & Qualifications
- Extensive senior leadership experience within Meetings & Events, hospitality or large-scale live environments
- Proven track record managing high-volume conference and events operations
- Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams within complex venues
- Strong financial and commercial management experience
- Hospitality, events or business-related qualifications are advantageous
