Teaching Assistants needed for school near Kingston upon Thames

We are seeking a dedicated Long Term Supply Teaching Assistant to join a supportive all-through school near Kingston.

This role offers stability & consistency. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in the classroom, small groups & on a 1:1 basis where required

• Monday-Friday
• 8.15am-4pm
• Free on-site parking
• Long-term role
• CPD & Training throughout the academic year
• Primary & Secondary year group opportunities

The school is an inclusive setting catering to Primary & Secondary year groups. They support students with a mixture of additional needs offering them a creative and engaging learning environment in a well-resourced school. The school is surrounding by a lovely green scenery and has good transport links into Clapham Junction. Victoria & London Bridge.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting pupils’ learning and engagement within the classroom
• Providing targeted support for pupils with a mixture of needs
• Assisting with behaviour, routines, and transitions throughout the school day
• Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff

The successful candidate will

• Have experience working with children (school based experience preferred)
• Be nurturing, reliable, patient, and proactive
• Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs
• Be able to commit to a long term placement
