Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust • London HA8 9BA

Band 3 Health Promotion Administration Officer - NLBSS & CELBSS

About this role

A Vacancy at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate GP information within the Breast Screening database and managing queries related to GP reports. It involves supporting uptake of the NHS Breast Screening Programme by working closely with GP practices across North Central London, prioritising areas with low coverage and higher deprivation, and systematically following up non‑responders to improve participation. The post‑holder will analyse non‑participation data, support health promotion initiatives—including work with people with learning disabilities—and collaborate with the health promotion team to reduce inequalities.

Ensure GP information on the Breast Screening database is accurate by validating the BS Select System. Manage queries related to GP reports and take appropriate action. Support increased participation in the NHS Breast Screening Programme by working with local GP practices and targeted North Central London (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Islington) areas to improve screening uptake. Implement systematic follow‑up of non‑responders, analyse reasons for non‑participation, and report findings to management and NCLCA. Focus on deprived areas with low coverage and support initiatives to improve participation among people experiencing homelessness.

Ensure accurate information is recorded on the NBSS system, including direct bookings and disability flags. Support monitoring and evaluation data logging for health promotion projects across North Central London. Undertake health promotion activities as required within the catchment area. Liaise with Administration Officers to ensure integration of duties and provide cover during short‑term absence.
