The Role

  • Oversee financial reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
  • Analyse financial data to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and develop financial policies, processes, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and statutory requirements
  • Prepare quarterly management accounts and financial reporting packs
  • Support annual audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
  • Manage cash flow, credit control, and cost control processes
  • Oversee invoicing, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Manage shareholder rental income accounting and reporting
  • Support company secretarial functions where required
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support budgeting and planning activities

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in financial statements and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices
  • Robust Analytical Skills with a focus on financial analysis and budgeting
  • In-depth understanding of Finance, including planning and forecasting
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within retail, property, or market operations, is advantageous
