A welcoming and well-supported Primary School near Tooting Broadway is seeking a SEN Teacher to work within their specialist language provision from May half term. The role involves teaching a small group of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils with speech, language and communication needs.

SEN Teacher - The Role
Teaching a small group of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils
Working within a specialist language provision within the school
Supporting pupils with speech, language and communication needs
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
Working closely with SEN staff and therapists
Creating a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
Who This Role Suits
Qualified Teachers with SEND experience
Teachers with Upper KS2 experience
Unqualified Teachers with strong SEN or specialist provision experience
Practitioners experienced supporting speech and language needs
Individuals passionate about inclusive education
Requirements
Experience working with children with SEND
Experience teaching or supporting Year 5 or Year 6 pupils
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
