About the role/school

We are looking for a passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a unique early years setting on a full-time basis. This Qualified Nursery Practitioner role is within a provision that follows an open-air, play-based approach for children aged approximately two to five, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and child-led exploration. As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will support children through hands-on experiences that build confidence and independence. The setting offers funded places with a main September intake alongside year-round applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a nurturing, community-focused environment where families are highly engaged and a consistent, experienced team contributes to strong staff satisfaction and a collaborative working culture.

Job Responsibilities

As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will

Support children's development through outdoor and play-based learning

Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment

Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Observe, assess and record children's progress

Work effectively as part of a supportive team

Qualifications/Experience

Experience working as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner or within an early years setting
Knowledge of the EYFS framework
A proactive, caring and enthusiastic approach
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK
