Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development, calibration, and management of IES models for a range of building types, ensuring robust, accurate outputs.

* Deliver detailed operational energy and overheating assessments, providing clear recommendations to inform design optimisation.

* Produce compliance assessments and documentation for SAP, SBEM, and Part L, coordinating inputs from project teams and external partners.

* Prepare high-quality technical reports, data analyses, and client-facing deliverables that clearly communicate findings and implications.

* Act as the internal “go-to” expert for IES-related queries, mentoring colleagues and setting best practice standards for modelling workflows.

* Support and contribute to proposal writing, including technical methodologies, scopes, and fee inputs for new opportunities.

* Engage in business development activities, building relationships with clients and identifying opportunities to expand sustainability services.

* Contribute to funding applications and sustainability strategies, providing robust technical inputs and evidence to support bids.

Key Requirements

* Significant experience in a sustainability or building performance role with a strong focus on IES modelling.

* Proven track record delivering operational energy assessments, overheating analysis, and compliance work (SAP/SBEM/Part L).

* Strong ability to interpret, manipulate, and present data to support evidence-based recommendations.

* Demonstrable experience producing clear, concise technical reports and client-ready documentation.

* Confident client communicator, able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.

* Experience taking technical ownership of project workstreams and coordinating inputs from multi-disciplinary teams.

* Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
