Are you looking for a new challenge within Research? Do you think you could contribute to a busy and dynamic clinical research team? We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated CRP to join our friendly Respiratory research team. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability and initiative to work independently and support the team. You should be able to manage your workload flexibly across a range of tasks and deadlines in a fast-pace working environment. Previous research experience would be a bonus; however, research training will be given. Knowledge of COPD and Asthma would be an advantage.
You will be an essential member of the Respiratory research team, who lead a growing portfolio of observational research and clinical trials of investigational medicines & devices within this specialty. The role will include supporting the setting up commercial and non-commercial studies and providing delivery support within your remit on a daily basis. You will be required to attend research meetings on a regular basis and take minutes. The role will involve working across COPD and Asthma research delivery for a 12 month period

EDUCATION
- Ensure mandatory training is undertaken and updated as required.
- To be responsible for developing and sustaining own knowledge, skills and professional awareness.
PROFESSIONAL
- You will be accountable for your own professional actions, acting within clearly defined policies/procedures and codes of conduct and Trust policy.
- To act in accordance with local policies and procedures laid down by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and ensure that all mandatory training for staff within the Trust is attended.
- To undertake Performance Development Review annually to identify organisational and professional objectives and developmental needs.
- To keep up to date with departmental, Trust, NHS, academic and EU developments for the management of clinical research ensuring timely, effective implementation of changes.
- To attend courses as deemed relevant, including mandatory training, and to attend meetings and conferences as appropriate
