Are you an experienced Room Leader or Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to lead our baby room within our 59 place nursery setting. This is an exciting opportunity for an early years professional who is s passionate about providing outstanding care and education for babies, supporting team development and creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Your role as a Room Leader

As a room leader, you will take responsibility for leading and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children under the age of 2 years old. You will promote and ensure child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding, and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet each child’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, lead and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development

•Implement the EYFS framework effectively, supporting each child’s learning and development

•Maintain effective safeguarding and child protection procedures in line with nursery policies and best practice

•Take charge of creating and leading engaging and developmentally appropriate activities

•Lead, support and motivate staff to ensure consistently high standards of care and practice within the room

•Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team and leading through positive role modelling and delivering best practices

What you will need

•Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification or above

•Minimum 1 years ' experience working with children under the age of 2 years

•Be flexible, creative and have the commitment to provide first class childcare

•Previous experience working within an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar)
