We are seeking a passionate and experienced sustainability professional to work with high-profile clients to develop and deliver ambitious decarbonisation and net zero targets across complex portfolios.

ISS is committed to delivering world-class energy and decarbonisation solutions for people and places, helping make the world work better through practical, measurable carbon reduction.

Job Description

We are looking for a trusted senior advisor who can bridge client sustainability strategy with ISS operational delivery.

This role ensures that net zero commitments are credible, deliverable through FM services and capital programmes, and transparently reported to meet regulatory, audit and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the senior sustainability and net zero interface between the FM organisation and the client’s EMEA leadership, engaging at executive level

Position the FM organisation as a strategic partner, identifying opportunities to deliver sustainability, energy and carbon initiatives

Influence senior client stakeholders to embed net zero delivery into operational decision making, capital planning and service strategies

Own the interface between FM operational data and client sustainability reporting, ensuring carbon metrics are accurate, consistent and audit-ready

Support EMEA disclosure obligations (including CSRD, TCFD and ISSB) by translating FM data into executive-level insights

Establish and manage net zero governance frameworks, including performance tracking, escalation and risk management

Identify delivery risks linked to assets, operations, capital constraints or data quality, and coordinate mitigation actions

Lead FM-enabled delivery of Scope 1 and 2 carbon reduction through energy optimisation, asset planning, electrification, renewables and behavioural change

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Demonstrable experience leading decarbonisation and Net Zero programmes across a large, complex corporate estate.

Strong carbon management and reporting capability, including experience with SDR and TCFD‑aligned frameworks.

Proven senior stakeholder and client‑facing skills, with confidence engaging and influencing at SLT level.

Ability to operate as a strategic link between FM partners (e.g. ISS) and client decarbonisation strategies, without delivering operational activity.

Experience working in high‑demand client environments, producing timely, accurate reports and progress updates.

Commercial and strategic mindset, focused on driving actions, identifying opportunities and tracking progress.

Full UK driving licence.
