About this role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join a high-quality childcare setting in Pinner. This is a senior leadership role for a professional who is passionate about maintaining excellence in EYFS standards and supporting the Nursery Manager in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership Support
Assist the Nursery Manager in the daily management of the setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Ofsted Compliance
Uphold all statutory requirements and ensure the nursery is always "Inspection Ready".
Staff Mentoring
Lead and inspire the practitioner team, conducting peer observations and supporting professional growth.
Curriculum Oversight
Ensure the delivery of a high-quality, creative EYFS curriculum across all rooms.
Safeguarding
Act as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to ensure the highest standards of child protection.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years (Level 5 or Degree is highly preferred).
Experience
Proven experience in a Deputy Manager or Senior Lead role within a UK nursery.
Skills
Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication, and a deep knowledge of Ofsted frameworks.
Location
Must be able to commute easily to Pinner (HA5).
