Senior Staff Nurse - Medicine for the Elderly | Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

About this role

We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join 8 West Ward within the Medicine for the Elderly Department at Charing Cross Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated individuals who thrive in a collaborative and established team environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care, working closely with the established nursing team to maintain and uphold standards in line with Trust policies and NMC guidelines.

  • Promote the good reputation of the Medicine for the Elderly within the Trust and the larger community.
  • Demonstrate appropriate behaviour in stressful and difficult situations.
  • Promote good working relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure appropriate lines of communication are maintained within the multidisciplinary Team/trust.
  • Contribute to the development of an effective learning environment.
  • Develop good organisational and managerial skills.
