Plastic Surgery Trauma Co-ordinator

See ab Responsible for the coordination of the plastic surgery trauma services. Attend the ward round and support on call trauma registrar in directing patient reviews and actioning patient related requests from the Consultant of the Week. Lead and co-ordinate surgery dates for trauma patients with discussion from plasticsurgery consultants, taking clinical needs and surgeon experience into account. Arrange any pre-op investigations as necessary. Assist in audits and data collection to contribute to service development and improved patient outcomes. Maintain close liaison with patients and their carers/families. Work clinically as required, assessing, treating and managing patients on the wards, in the Hand Trauma Clinic, Urgent Treatment Centre, Nye Bevan Unit, Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and/or ED.
