Clinical Practice and Patient Care Deliver high-quality nursing care for assigned patient groups, including assessment, re-assessment, and discharge planning. Prioritize workloads according to changing clinical needs and take charge of the clinical area when required with appropriate support. Promote a healthy lifestyle for patients and staff in line with national strategy. Contribute to setting goals and benchmarking standards of care under the supervision of the Ward Manager. Communication and Collaboration Demonstrate kindness, respect, and sensitivity in all interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Adapt communication styles to overcome barriers such as language or complex clinical needs. Work cohesively with the MDT to ensure the absolute best services are provided at all times. Management and Development Actively participate in the Trusts annual appraisal process and preceptorship programs. Contribute to service development by identifying clinical risks and participating in clinical governance and audits. Support resource management by ensuring effective use of equipment and assisting with duty rotas to meet service needs.
