If you are looking for a new challenge and are passionate about Events; an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events Assistant Apprentice to join our Children and Young Persons Health & Wellbeing service, with a focus on substance use, across Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.

You will be employed as an Events Assistant Apprentice and one of the main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to complete their apprenticeship successfully.

This will include attending the college delivering the apprenticeship, completing assignments for successful completion of the Apprenticeship, working within your scope of competence but also putting your learning as an Events Assistant apprentice into practice and attending all tri-partite meetings with your college advisors and Trust links.

You will also be an employee of CNWL and when not at college you will be expected to work as an Events Assistant alongside our Youth Worker and wider team to support the team in planning events which raise awareness of the service, engage childrena nd young people as well as supporting in the promotion of national awareness days and local events.

This role will lead on the planning and execution of internal and external event planning, including communication with stakeholders.

You will possess good communications skills with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen to others' views, respect and value individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds.

CNWL's Addictions Directorate Children & Young Persons Health & Wellbeing Team is an established team which is currently growing. The team have a friendly, supportive and collaborative culture. There is a visible and supportive management team and a strong emphasis on training and professional development opportunities.

Skilled Worker visa

· Pass (grade C/4) at GCSE English & Maths or equivalent before the apprenticeship OR If aged 16–18 must be working towards achieving Level 2 Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE grade 4/C) during the apprenticeship.

This is required before moving to the assessment phase of the course OR If aged19 or older then there is no longer a need to have to study or pass Maths and English to complete the apprenticeship, unless the employer decides it’s needed.

· Assisting the Team with a high number of events in various locations

· Attend both internal and external events

· Promoting events across all social media platforms and other areas

· Supporting with logistical and administrative support

· Maintaining records of all bookings e.g. venue and catering

· Assisting with creative decisions

· Attend necessary meetings as the event contact

· Ad-hoc duties at events including guest list management and directions to sites

· Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion

· Ensure all items required for events are ordered and arrive on time
