Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable car dealership group based in Roehampton, South London, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician

• Perform routine vehicle servicing and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Conduct fault diagnosis and clearance utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment
• Maintain accurate work records, including parts used and repairs carried out
• Work efficiently to meet daily productivity targets within a busy workshop
• Assist in mentoring junior technicians to support team development
• Uphold high standards of quality and customer service at all times
• Identify additional work opportunities through effective vehicle inspections

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or automotive workshop
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, including manufacturer-specific equipment
• IT literate and familiar with diagnostic software
• Ambitious with a desire to progress towards Master Technician status
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
