We are looking to recruit a professional, conscientious, individual to become part of our Adult Care Services Team as an Administration Officer for our Community Inpatient Unit based in St Peter’s Ward, Hemel Hempstead Hospital, Hertfordshire.

Duties and responsibilities of the role include

· Providing a high-quality administrative service to meet the requirements of the unit including data collation and recording, audits, surveys, filing, making and receiving telephone calls, photocopying etc.

· Act as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, carers and health professionals, ensuring that everyone is greeted and attended to with a high focus on customer service standards

· Working unsupervised and organise/manage own workload on a day-to-day basis

· Organise, coordinate and attend meetings, where necessary, for the team, including liaison with other departments, preparing agendas, minute taking and following up on actions
