Bathroom Fitter

We are a small, friendly construction company based in Peterborough looking for an experienced and reliable Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent installation skills, and the ability to work efficiently to fit bathrooms in residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and fit bathroom suites, including baths, showers, toilets, basins, vanity units, and associated fixtures in residential and commercial projects
• Measure and prepare bathroom areas for installation
• Carry out bathroom refurbishments, including removal of existing fittings and preparation of surfaces
• Complete first and second fix plumbing works as required
• Undertake wall and floor tiling to a high standard
• Carry out minor carpentry, plastering, and finishing works where necessary
• Ensure all work meets building regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Liaise with clients, ensuring all requirements are met and any issues are addressed promptly
• Provide excellent customer service and keep clients informed of progress

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bathroom Fitter, Plumber, or Multi-Skilled Tradesperson
• Strong knowledge of bathroom installation and refurbishment techniques
• Experience in plumbing, tiling, aqua panelling and general bathroom fitting
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bathroom plans
• Experience working with power tools and hand tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (required for travel to various job sites)
• CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
• A positive, proactive approach to work with a strong work ethic
