Support Worker
Earn £13.45 per hour (£26,300 per annum, pro rata) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan
1 x Permanent, part time (21 hpw), covering 4 sleep ins a week.
1 x Permanent, part time (16.5 hpw), covering 3 sleep ins a week.

What you?ll do
- You?ll have an option to be an emergency responder - out of hours, £50 for first hour of attendance/ hourly rate for further time on site if required.
- Supporting customers with tasks, this could be cooking, medications, support as per their support plan, some admin duties
- Supporting customers with mental health issues such as autism, mild learning disabilities and substance misuse issues.
- Encouraging independence and celebrating wins.
- Creating a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first
- Working collaboratively to empower our customers

You have
- Passion to support our customers to live their best lives
- Experience of supporting others, professionally or personally
- The ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure
- Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs
- A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it)

The practical bits
- Shift times vary slightly due to rota working, approx. 20:00-22:00, sleeping in onsite from 22:00-07:00, cover 07:00-09:30, during the week
- Shift starts earlier at the weekend from 17:00 and finishes later on a Monday 12:00.
- Although you?ll lone work, we do get together regularly for training and team meetings.
- You need an Enhanced DBS with barring list (we pay)
