£12.71 per hour | 37.5 hours per week

Monday –

Wednesday

7.00am – 5.00pm

Thursday

7.00am – 4.30pm

Every Friday Off!

Our client is a successful electronics manufacturer looking for a Trainee SMT Machine Operator to join their friendly production team. Full training will be provided, so previous SMT experience is not essential. What matters most is a positive attitude, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

What will you be doing?

Learning how to operate specialist SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machinery

Loading electronic components into production equipment

Monitoring machine performance and quality

Carrying out basic production and assembly tasks

Completing production paperwork accurately

Working as part of a supportive team to meet customer deadlines

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

What are we looking for?

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good attention to detail

Basic computer skills

Reliable and punctual

Able to follow processes and instructions

Comfortable working in a production environment

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ideally not colour blind

Physically fit as there is a lot of standing

Previous experience in manufacturing, electronics, assembly, retail, hospitality, warehousing, customer service or machine operation would be beneficial, but is not essential.
