We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to provide lunch cover at our client's outstanding nursery in Chingford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional looking for part-time hours within a supportive and nurturing nursery environment. Working

Monday to Friday from 11

00am to 3:00pm, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing during key parts of the nursery day.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can learn through play, develop confidence, and thrive.

Essential Requirement

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or an equivalent recognised qualification to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that encourage learning through play.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's development and contribute to progress records.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Support the smooth running of daily nursery routines.
  • Follow and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to support children's development.
  • Promote positive learning experiences and contribute to the nursery's high standards of care and education.
  • Act as a positive role model and demonstrate best practice in early years education.

About You

Essential

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding care and education.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.
  • Understanding of child development and early years best practice.
  • Ability to contribute ideas and initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.
