Nursery Apprentice / Early Years Apprentice

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice / Early Years Apprentice to join a friendly and supportive nursery team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in Early Years childcare and gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised childcare qualification.

You will support qualified practitioners in delivering high-quality care and learning experiences for children in line with the EYFS framework.

Hours

30–40 hours per week

Full-time, permanent apprenticeship opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Support nursery staff with daily care and routines

Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities

Encourage children’s learning and development through play

Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment

Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

Requirements

No formal childcare qualification required (apprenticeship opportunity)

Passion for working with children and Early Years education

Willingness to learn and develop professionally

Good communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, enthusiastic, and caring attitude

Benefits
