Full-Time Team Administrator Location

NLFT Homeless Health Outreach Service (HHOS), St Ann’s Hospital, Haringey

We are seeking a highly motivated Team Administrator to join our Homeless Health Outreach Service (HHOS) at St Ann’s Hospital, located in the vibrant and multicultural borough of Haringey.

As part of a busy multi-disciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative and secretarial support to ensure the smooth running of our service.

Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the team. Manage word processing tasks, maintain spreadsheets, and handle email correspondence. Organize and attend weekly meetings, including accurate minute-taking. Maintain electronic diaries and patient information systems.

Assist in updating and implementing systems in line with Trust and service requirements.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.

  • To provide and supervise a high quality administrative, clerical and for patients and their carers who access the Trust services.
  • The post holder must be comfortable working with varied professional groups. An aptitude for innovation is encouraged.
  • At all times the post holder will be dealing with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature which should not be divulged to another or discussed with other colleagues unless absolutely necessary.
  • The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of an efficient, focused administrative service, supporting the achievement of the service and to organise and plan the work of administrative and secretarial services across the range of administrative functions that underpin the patient pathway.
  • Co-ordinate the administrative function within the team to deliver an efficient and effective administrative service that supports clinical service delivery, service management, service users and carers.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Trust policies and local protocols for Data Protection, Health and Safety, Security and Fire Safety within the administration team.
  • Your duties will encompass regular liaison regarding the keeping of the appointments diary, typing of letters and reports, taking and transcribing minutes at meetings, telephone liaison with external agencies and making appointments at the request of the service. You will assist in the maintenance of records, filing and photocopying and any duties essential to the comprehensive secretarial support service you will provide.
  • Your dealings with matters relating to clients and staff is of a highly confidential nature and should not be divulged to another or discussed with other colleagues other than as necessary within the context of your role
