LNWUH is looking to recruit Physician Associate to work alongside the clinical teams across the organisation. The Physician Associate will work under a supervising consultant, providing care and support for Regional Hyperacute Rehabilitation Unit (RHRU) clinical teams. The post will give an opportunity to manage patients in a range of clinical needs specific to neurorehabilitation

Key responsibilities

The post holder will be expected to manage patients within the Regional Hyper-acute Rehabilitation Unit (RHRU) at the direction of the supervising consultant and practice within their professional boundaries.

The post holder will manage patients in all areas covered by their supervising consultant and clinical team.

To exercise a high degree of personal and professional autonomy when assessing, managing and planning care for a caseload of specific patients with a variety of presentations.

To work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team within the RHRU and the Trust clinical teams.

To develop extensive specialist knowledge and experience in your clinical area, acting as a resource to the clinical team and allied health professionals.

To contribute to the trust professional standards and targets.

To support the work of local and national audits.
