Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team.

You will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries using an 18-tonne vehicle, delivering goods in cages to various locations. This is a temperature-controlled role, so accuracy in handling and checking food temperatures is essential

Job Description

• 45-hour working week
• Temperature-controlled deliveries
• Multi-drop role (up to 14 deliveries per day)
• Local work – no long-distance driving
• Driving an 18-tonne vehicle
• Induction and Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Job Responsibilities

• Loading and offloading cages safely and efficiently
• Checking and recording food temperatures
• Completing deliveries on time and in line with company standards
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring compliance with all road safety and transport regulation

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Good physical fitness due to manual handling involved
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Benefits

• £17.76 per hour
• Weekly pay ( in arrears )
