CARE WORKER

About this role

  • Assist service users with personal care tasks including washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
  • Support continence care sensitively and in line with the Care Plan
  • Assist with mobility — safe movement around the home, transfers, and use of mobility aids
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and hot drinks; monitor nutrition and hydration
  • Assist with or prompt medication as agreed in the Care Plan and record on Birdie eMAR
  • Record Keeping
  • Provide light domestic support — cleaning, laundry, washing up, tidying — to maintain a safe home environment
  • Support service users with shopping or errands where agreed in the Care Plan
  • Protect service users from abuse, harm, and neglect at all times
