About this role
- Assist service users with personal care tasks including washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
- Support continence care sensitively and in line with the Care Plan
- Assist with mobility — safe movement around the home, transfers, and use of mobility aids
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and hot drinks; monitor nutrition and hydration
- Assist with or prompt medication as agreed in the Care Plan and record on Birdie eMAR
- Record Keeping
- Provide light domestic support — cleaning, laundry, washing up, tidying — to maintain a safe home environment
- Support service users with shopping or errands where agreed in the Care Plan
- Protect service users from abuse, harm, and neglect at all times
