The school supports pupils from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 5 and is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive environment where every young person is encouraged to achieve their full potential through a highly supportive team and excellent professional development opportunities.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time permanent SEND Teacher from September. The successful SEND Teacher will work with pupils across Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5 who have a range of additional needs including SEMH, SLCN and ASD, delivering engaging lessons, supporting individual learning outcomes and promoting both academic and personal development.

The successful

SEND Teacher will have

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND, particularly SEMH, SLCN and ASD
• Strong behaviour management and classroom management skills
• Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach to teaching
